  I am a brand new diver and had never dove in the ocean. From the very 1st contact with Kevin at Underwater Explorers I felt like I had made the right choice. Kevin assured me via email that I would be in good hands and he and his crew followed through on his promise. During the trip out to the site he explained things that would be different from freshwater diving and went over safety procedures as well as what we would be seeing underwater. Once underwater he monitored me and pointed out things too see but at the same time let it be my dive, not just me chasing him around.
  
  For those of you who are experienced divers he has a style for you also. He gets you to the site, provides you with a safe and friendly experience but lets you do your own thing. You tow a flag and they monitor it. You hit the surface and they pick you up. If you need something he and his crew are there but he doesn't try to smother you.
